2.7. Half bridge

The half-bridge topology (fig. 12) is nothing but a simplification of the previous one. In this topology, the primary transistor set up has been reduced to a half and voltage tapping in the middle of two series capacitors is used. This topology is normally used in switched-mode power supplies, making use of the input voltage doubling circuit (please see section 4.1)
