Background
In 1972 the parent company started developing power supplies for industrial use. In 1981 this company decided to split off the Power Supply Department, founding PREMIUM, S. A., and transferring all know-how, technology and models available at that time to the new organization. Its shares were later sold to the current shareholders. Consequently, PREMIUM, S.A. has a cumulative experience of more than 30 years in the field of power conversion.

PREMIUM, S. A. is an independent private company with no company branches or subsidiaries.

The firm is currently located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona, Spain), near the harbour and airport, occupying a building of about 1700 m2 where all business is handled.

The company has a staff of arround 50, nine of whom work in R&D.
