The CDTI (Industrial technology development centre) grants a loan to the company as a collaboration in the RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT project named " MODULAR, REDUNDANT, INTELLIGENT AND TELECONTROLLABLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM, FOR HIGH RELIABILITY APPLICATIONS." The loan's value is up to 410.180€.

We continue increasing our manufacturing capability in the SMD line, with the fourth automatic insertion "pick&place" machine, achieving a manufacturing capacity up to 14.500 components per hour.
Award to the best technological innovation
 PREMIUM, S. A. has been awarded by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce for the best initiative of technological innovation. In an interview for the local radio, the manager emphasized that "we have one of the better laboratories of Europe for power supplies and converters development.”

 We have added to our SMD line the third pick & place automatic machine, what increases the manufacturing flexibility, achieving a manufacturing capacity up to 11.000 components per hour.
Increase in capital
In 2006 Premium, S.A. trebled its E. U. sales, and already surpass the domestic sales. The company carried out an important increase in capital so as to finance its growth, as well as, planned investments in the SMT assembly line, the lead free soldering procedures and the intermediate and final tests
Electronica 2006, Munich
 In Munich we exhibited a large number of special designs, OEM, custom made products, for markets such as railways, semiconductors manufacturing, and communications.

 We have recently acquired, for our SMD line, a flexible modular Pick&Place automatic machine (system for high mix production). It is equipped with laser centering, 180 intelligent feeders, CCD camera for Teach-in, universal magnetic PCB holder, automatic tools change, and PC control.
Matelec 2006, Madrid
 In our stand in the trade fair MATELEC we have exhibit some of our custom designed products, besides the ODS-750 series (750VA sine wave inverter) and KDX-1200 series (1200W power PSU of low profile) which have interested people a lot. We want to thank from here all our customers and friends, and the time they have spent with us.
Facilities increase
Premium has transferred its warehouse to a contiguous quarter recovering 500 square meters to increase the manufacturing capability.
It has been done the starting up of the vapor-phase soldering machine (at the right in the picture) incorporated to the SMD lead free soldering line.
